I got a 2014 SE Dodge journey 2.4l with 99,000mil. on it and seeing a small puddle of coolant when I start the engine the following morning.   leak forms underneath the trans pan but not from the thermo housing .  coolant reservoir was low too .   could it be a seal, gasket or a hose I haven't found and from where the leak is coming from .

hard to say over the internet, have a local garage check it out if you are not so inclined to check it out yourself, very well could be a cracked thermostat housing kind of common on the 2,4 make sure you replace the whole unit and use the CORRECT MOPAR COOLANT don't use the advertised one coolant for all vehicles  it cost more but it is very important not to mix them
