Overheating

Recommended Posts

I’m having overheating issues with my high mileage Journey 2.4L. I’ve replaced the fan control relay, fan speed relays, fan resistor, fan, radiator, thermostats and housing, water pump, and all hoses. I have run out of ideas. Also, I have and engine light and a 402 code.
Aldo, when I start the car it runs really rough and smokes until it warms up.
Please advise

are you losing any coolant? change out your rad cap as well...how overheated did you get it? have the engine head checked for crack or bad head gasket,is your heater core working as it should heat inside the journey?
