Got the PO6DD code.but also when I go to kick the gas pedal down to get and go it does not kick down. It just gradually gains speed. And my oil psi does not go up past 37 psi. It does not bog down just no get and go. It Just hit 160000 miles, only issue ever had was , we hit a deer years ago. And was repaired. Oil had been change less than 3000 miles ago.and is clear. Only drive car 16 total miles a day.

Welcome to the site. Was a new decent brand oil filter like Wix or a factory filter used last oil change? Should immediately change oil and filter and see if it helps. I stick to the 5w20 oil if the engine has minimal consumption.

The pressure sensor is in the heat exchanger between the cylinder heads, below plastic  intake manifold. Could be bad sensor.  Even damaged wiring to sensor can be problem, although you still are showing some pressure.

Code probably causing limp Bizkit mode so engine sluggish, or vvt cams need proper oil pressure to function. Low oil pressure will rapidly wreck an engine,

5rebel9 had to replace oil pump on one of his fleet of Journeys. He is familiar with the repair, hopefully he responds. It's behind oil pan, a fairly expensive repair unfortunately, if that turns out to be issue. Trouble shooting needs to be done.

From EXPERIENCE!!!

 Check engine oil level.

My '13 cracked the oil filter/cooler housing and was gushing out the oil when running and also gave the code P06dd.

Leaking oil from this part will accumulate on the top of the transmission if you open the hood and look down at the motor and and trans on drivers side.

It is NOT RECOMMENDED to drive the vehicle with such a leak, could ruin the engine.

I got lucky and replaced the filter/cooler assy. and oil pressure was good  and code went away, no further problem.

and YES on my '14 got the code and it was the oil pump assy that John/Horace referred about.

Having 3 of these 3.6 cars and all high mileage....

yes you can replace the oil pressure sensor without taking much apart. BUT it involves some "special tools" and excellent dexterity. Otherwise the upper and lower intake manifolds need to be removed and NEW gaskets used on reassembly and for a first timer , A LOT MORE than an hour of time..

There are many YOUTUBE videos of both ways to change the sensor.

What I found on my '14 was there is a small screen filter on the oil pump assembly that had gunked up and caused my problem, but that deep in to get at it and high mileage that I opted for a new complete oil pump.

Note : both my '13 and '14 now have the aluminum oil filter/cooler assembly on them, and my '11 still going with the original plastic filter/cooler.

Thank you, oil level reads full.  As I was asking before, can a normal person, with the ability replace a sensor. ( would it require more parts than just the sensor? ) for the parts that have to be removed to get to the sensor.

there are videos on you tube showing how to replace it without taking the top of the engine off..check them out
