viktor.n.m
Hello All, I'm looking for a Dodge Journey after 2017 with trim level CR, GT or RT. I'm looking for specific features but not sure how to know if the car have them, because I'm from Europe and all search happens online through auctions north America? The features are: - Front Passenger In-Seat Storage - In-Floor Storage Bin - Integrated Boosters on the second row seats If someone can tell me from which years and in which trim levels they are available? viktor.n.m
Thanks guy! One more question, regarding the remote engine start, can it be added additionally? I mean, is it a locked feature that can be unlocked with software or a hardware is needed?
2late4u
it can be added with OEM and also aftermarket kits I would it will assume each one might have certain requirements on weather it needs a sales code... this has been discussed in the forum section take your time to read Thur it for a lot of good info as well
John/Horace
Most of the time just alphaobd with scanner can enable. If Sirius radio optioned pretty much guaranteed antenna etc is all there but both remotes programmed by alphaobd still needed. Remote requires an extra button that triggers with double click. Like in pic. It is an old school 315 MHz (unlike Asia and europe who use 433.9 and 868 MHz) set up so range limited to around 100 metres or 330 feet. Still handy to have. 5rebel9
A couple of extra things needed for the years the OP is looking for Remote start IS doable , but need to have hood {bonnet} safety switch installed if car is not already so equipped with R.S. Wiring SHOULD already be there. AND 2015 and newer have a Security Gateway Module that takes special hook up harness for alphabob{or similar program} to enable new fobs and activate R.S. in the BCM
