diggit
Just wondering if anyone has noticed the same thing. When I go to 'punch' the accelerator to get to speed (say, going from 40km/h to 80km/h), the tranny will downshift, the engine will rev high but she accelerates slooowwwly. From the sounds of the engine I should be speeding up alot faster from what I remember (its the wifes transport). Its been below freezing the past few weeks (winter), had an oil change about a month and a half ago (has 26,000kms). There are no codes and no warning lights on the dash. Other than this its driving normally. I've got the gold warranty on it so the only thing I'd be out is my time and a day or so without the car if I took it in. Anyone? zmttoxics
From my understanding the computer adjusts the transmission shifts to match the driver. This may be a case of the computer stopping it to prevent unexpected over acceleration or something. Might be worth phoning the dealership to check it out. The 2009s had firmware updates to fix shifting issues - I am not sure if the 2010s did.

How st*pid is it that there is no dipstick to check tranny fluid on the 3.5s..?
zmttoxics
Yeah, theres another thread about the transmission. I was pretty shocked to read they are all sealed transmissions now. :\ Anyways, looks like you need special tools to get the pan off. So you might be better just to take it in again.
