Rear end wiggle?

Recommended Posts

My wife drives her 2011 Journey R/T FWD a LOT and when she is on the highway if feels like the back end is wagging from side to side.  I had an alignment done recently and new tires, everything is within spec.  I have new trailing arms, sway bar links and  rear lower forward control arm to replace, but I am not sure if that will make a difference.  I noticed the inner bushing on the lower control arm is worn, but if it was bad would they have been able to align it?  I've also done rear shocks already, so I don't think that is a problem.  But I have noticed that there are somethings that are just inherent to the Journey, so I didn't know if this is just another thing to live with.  I already have clucking suspension that I have replaced literally everything for (except I suspect crossmember bushings possibly), but I would like the car to feel "solid" when driving.  I know that most people are just going to say "replace all the rear end stuff first before posting" but I didn't know if there is something else I should be looking at.  The trailing arms seem like they are going to be a pain in the butt, especially with corrosion.  Thanks for any help or advice in advance and just to share what I tackled recently thanks to a daughter learning to drive, here is a link to my YouTube channel on repairing the front end after she hit a concrete pylon.
