Apparent Engine Misfire

While driving at 60kmh my Journey started to hesitate had a big loss of power. I still had enough power to cruise at 60 but could not go any faster.

I had it towed to the dealership and they said they said the computer had a misfire code. They cleared the code from the computer and took it for a test drive and

everything was normal again. They are trying to charge me $200 just to clear the code and test drive it. They did not check the plugs, coil or anything.

What should I do??

Do you not have a warranty? I would think that would be covered but I can't remember enough to be sure. I would ask for them to do more checking, but you will probably get charge more in that case. Alternatively, take a chance and pay the $200 and wait for it to happen again and take it somewhere else.

Good luck!
