longhorn
Hello, I too have the grinding and moaning sound when turning left. I had a return line that split and i think air got into the system. i have heard on the forum of a few tsb's that address this problem, I wouldn't want chrysler to replace everything and then still have the problem. does anyone have the actual tsb# 19-002-08 or 19-001-09? they are titled, " power steering honk, moan or grinding sound on left turn", dates are 2008-10-11, and 2009-01-22 i have been all over the internet but all i have found were the title and tsb numbers.... thanks for your help
Lostinparadise
Hi Longhorn, As I remember, it was a design flaw in the original power steering fluid resevoir...which my dealership temporarily corrected by slightly overfilling the resevoir until it could be replaced with the new and improved one. Haven't had an issue with it since. Service receipt reads B TECH 793 PERFORM RRT 08 087 POWER STEERING RESEVOIR PART# 5151028AA REPLACE SWITCH/SENSOR, BRAKE FLUID LEVEL PART# 68057090AB Both covered under warranty.
