drb227
I can tell you for sure that on my 2011 Crew, the transmission will shift into 6th gear at 70 kph, IF you are going very light on the throttle. If you are accellerating a little (or a lot) harder, it will eventually shift into 6th. This is totally normal. My wife's 08 Fusion does essentially the same thing. fooe
What RPM were you at in 5th doing 85 KPH I can check my 2012 R/T with your stats. However I don't drive mine very much, the wife does so I have really no input to tell you....... I can drive it and tell you what RPM I at in Auto-stick 5th and 6th gear and just in autmatic doing 85 KPH...... ..................Caper............ its rpm is about 1800 to 2000 at 85 kph in 5 th gear.if i auto slap it to 6 th it goes down to about 1200 rpm.when doing that it does stay in 6th. The trouble is getting it to shift by itself.i work at the minvan plant in windsor and am trying to talk to the head transmission person there. Im wondering if the minivans are doing the same because of the same engine and motors in the vans that are in the journeys.
