Netcowboy
Has anyone asked to see the Dealer's Invoice? I work for a company that gets a discount on Dodge vehicals - the information I have says to ask to see the invoice and my "Preferred Price" would be list in the left column and would be shown with a "PP"next to it. Since mine is being factory built, they don't have the invoice yet. Any incite or suggestions to get a lower price would be great. The dealer already told me if I don't take possesion in March I loose the $2500 customer cash incentive.
Cableguy
The company I work for had the Preferred pricing plan also. First thing I did was get a control number to get it and present this number to the dealer. The dealer then applied this to the price of the vehicle and had to show me the dealer invoice for the vehicle itself witch had the pp price on it. I'm in Canada but I hope this helps! FleshWound
i have a few dear friends that work at the Brampton Assembly Plant, and I was fortunate enough to get an "Employee Choice" discount for the Journey. Basically there was zero negotiation, it was at dealer invoice price on everything from options, to extended warranties, to service contracts. The salesman at the dealership said he could not personally buy the vehicle for that price. I had to sign the dealer invoice as part of this process. They let me look over the invoice but I could not get a copy. Had to initial all the extras too >>extended warranty >>service contract As for the 2500 in your case, he's probably telling you the truth, as these are Manufacturer Rebates, and they can change from month to month. I've found that those rebates/incentives can, and usually do, carry over to the new month, or reappear after one month. As was the case with 0% financing when I purchased, it took a 1 month hiatus in September but returned in October.
SRTst
As far as I know, with Chrysler in the past, as long as you get the paperwork done and put some form of a down payment, even insignificant amount like $10, you can keep any incentives for the month you are purchasing in. If incentives are BETTER when the car is being delivered to you, then you can request the latest and greatest incentives. They do, at times, have special incentives for you to buy from existing stock but it is very clearly outlined.
