mrlux
Not sure where you are getting your information but this is a good site to compare tire sizes. With the 235 tire vs. the 225 tire you are going 60.9mph when the speedo says 60mph. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
19InBlkJrny
I don't think that spedo offset is quite accurate. I agree with mrlux that it is more like 1mph at most. This is where I got my information. http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp
BUGS
Well I managed to squeak out a few more kms out of the original Kuhmo Solus. Total mileage accumulated before they reached 3/32 tread wear depth was 38754 kms. (That's 24222 miles) My f''n wheelbarrow has more miles on the tire than that and it still has lots of tread left. I replaced them with TOYO CUV Versado 235 55 r19. Best part of 1200$ gone. I expect another cheque from Chrysler to help pay for it. Seems quite a few CHEAP shortcuts were taken during construction. (Brakes, Tires and I am sure there will be more) But still like my DJ
c_Chisom
I have two KUHMHO 225-55/19 tires for sale. They have 7100 miles on them. I had two blow outs on the passenger side of my 2010 Journey so I ended up replacing all four tires. If anyone is interested let me know they would be great to have as back up set!!!
