RaiderJay6
Painted the chrome grill shell with Plastidip and added a Mopar emblem from Billet Technology. Added Dodge vent visors, Dodge sill plate protectors and added a custom made SXT6 carbon fiber emblem to the rear. Here is a close up of the emblem:

hollandspartan
How difficult was it to remove the grill for painting? Did you prep the chrome first or just spray away? Thanks in advance. Dave.
RaiderJay6
How difficult was it to remove the grill for painting? Did you prep the chrome first or just spray away? Thanks in advance. Dave. The grill isnt too difficult to remove. Its all clips in the bottom once you remove the push clips under the hood. The only prep I did was washing the chrome real good. The Plastidip coating adheres real well.

I have not tackled the project yet, but does the chrome portion of the grill separate from the black background piece? Dave.
RaiderJay6
Yes the chrome comes off from the black to make it easier to paint.
