Evlmarine
I'm thinking of purchasing a set of Ripp coils in the near future, I have upgraded coils at the moment but want better response and from what I've read from Ripp their coils are a good upgrade. I put a k&n air filter (From O'Reilly auto parts approx price was $50) removed the 6 inch piece of hose. I do notice a slight difference in the higher speeds. A guy i know who does work on other types of cars. Told me a K&N air filter and open up the exhaust ie. Higher flow...i will notice a difference. I know MSD makes coils for the Journey so i was thinking of investing in that and the chip( maybe)just wanting feedback on that. Changing the brand of coils won't give you any power. Also, there is no chip that works with these cars. If it's advertised to work, it's fake. Chips are garbage. 5rebel9
Well, at least he made this mod correctly, with the "free standing" PCV Valve air equalization tube/port filter. I contend regularly on another forum of folks hooking that breather line into the main air tube! NICE JOB!
