The VR and phone button on steering wheel will not work or work intermittently. The buttons are not the problem. The dealer replaced the head unit and the Voice recognition worked until I activated the Sirius radio subscription. Now the dealer says they are stumped and must check with engineers in Detroit. I'm just curious if your also having a problem with the phone button on your radio, because I can't access my phone menu in addition to having the problem you are. Vehicle to dealer on Monday tech says they will address it as an electrical issue and are keeping car for about a week or until fixed. I will keep u posted of results. It mostly works well with the exception of trying to control music playback via USB or SD Card. That part simply does not work at all. Would love to hear your experiences with this when you get the vehicle and have time to play with it. I have had my Journey for almost a week and have had NO problems with the VC or BT which came with mine. Hopefully we will not have any issues! I have noticed that the shuffle on the Ipod does tend to repeat the same songs alot. Yes, I would say the VR is much better now, but having said that, when I have other people in the vehicle with me, any ambient noise (voices in the background) seems to confuse the VR system. When I am in the vehicle on my own, no problems, works perfectly. On another note, one of my gremlins in my review of the Journey about asking for a specific song to be played has been resolved. Now when I ask for a specific song to be played, it actually goes to the song and plays it, before it would highlight the song and then immediately skip to the next one. MODELS: 2011 (JC) Journey 2011 (LD) Charger 2011 (LX) 300 NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles built from December 20, 2010 (MDH 1220XX) to June 10, 2011 (MDH 0610XX) equipped with UCONNECT VOICE COMMAND W/BLUETOOTH (sales code RSP, RSQ for international).
