money0309
I have a 2011 Journey Mainstreet that was bought brand new and just hit 5000 miles. I'm having some issues and wondering if anyone else has had similar problems. The first thing I noticed is that at times the car has a rough idle and the idle also sticks at roughly 1000 - 1100 rpms which is enough to pull the car forward while coming to a stop. The next and most annoying thing is when I turn on my left turn signal my windshield wipers make one pass and cut off. The wipers do the same thing after a right turn when the signal arm returns to the off position. It seems to do it more on hotter days also. My wife took the car to the dealership while I was working but they basically blew her off and said everything was fine and normal so I will be taking it back myself when I have the time. Just wondering if others have had similar experiences.
Armendegga
The windshield wiper turning on when you are using your turn signal definitely seems to indicate a short/loose wire or something. That alone should be proof to the dealer that they should check out what's going on... I would recommend showing them the behavior that you are seeing. It would be pretty hard to blow off if they can see what's going on.

I can't remember exactly what had to be replaced but it was something electrical and it was covered under warranty. Don't let your dealer blow you off! Sorry I don't have more information, but I hope this helps!
