Disadvantages of installing interior car lights with under-dash wire

You may think it convenient to turn on you in-car LED down lights immediately when you when the ignition is turned on. However, installing interior LED car lights with the 12v wire under dash area always causes troubles.

Also, power your in-car lights with wires under dash board may also accidentally activate the air bags if you unfortunately mess around with the wires.

Maybe I shouldn't do this but I've always just tapped my wire into one of the under dash fuses and I've never had any problems.
