Having trouble with Shuffle option on IPhone

Hey everyone, thanks for checking out my post. I'm new to the forum and I signed up because I'm having only one problem with my 2011 Dodge Journey Crew. When I plug my IPhone into my car through an Apple USB cable and I choose to shuffle the songs, it will play like 2 or 3 songs and then it will kick me out of shuffle mode. From there, it will just continue to go through my songs in alphabetical order. Even when I play the song all the way through and don't skip over the songs, it will still do it. Most of the time, it happens when I skip over a song. Can anyone help me with this problem please. Thank you all.

I think the Uconnect update would fix that. I don't know how to link to another post, so search "update shuffle" and find the post that I started. The link in that post will explain how to download and install an update that also fixes the browse function.

Thank you so much for your help SaskGuy. Do you know if Dodge would be able to do this update for free too? I would do the update myself, but I don't currently have a flash drive.

Your best bet would be to call your local dealer, otherwise it might just be faster to get a flash drive. You can get a small flash drive for <$10 now from BestBuy, Walmart, etc.
