Geer
'11 R/T with 8.4N and factory Amp...on Friday I suddenly had no audio...no sound at all from speakers for radio, player, or even Nav. Everything works but no sound out of a single speaker! Dropped into my dealer today and before I finished explaining the problem he told me there's a software flash to fix this. I'll keep you all posted in that regard.
bigtsr
My previous car for the last 5 yrs has been a Dodge Caliber and I was a active member of a forum for it. One of the discoveries we made was that anytime something electrical quit working it was in all likelyhood the TIPM (totally intergrated power module) that for whatever reason had shut the particular device down. Most times the fault was resettable by disconnecting the battery cables and holding them together for 5-10 minutes. From looking at my DJ I can see this is probably a little more difficult but if it works it may save a trip to the dealer.

nwaring
We had the no sound problem and the amp had to be replaced. Service claims it was caused by something spilled around the front seat. I'm somewhat concerned on what will happen this winter if snow from someones boots gets kicked up under the seat.
