peklucher
Ive looked in the owners manual and cant find what i am looking for. Can anyone tell me what the fluid capacity of transmission and power steering is? It is a 2012 journey 2.4 liter with 4 speed transmission. Thanks. ChrisPollard
I have the 2.4/4spd too. Fluid capacities are on page 548 of the manual, but only lists fuel, engine oil, and coolant. Nothing on power steering or transmission except what types to use. Have you drained your power steering system and transmission? A little early for that kind of service on a 2012, isn't it? tstone
Power steering should not matter. Just fill it up, bleed, fill, bleed, etc, until you've added enough. For transmission ask the dealership what the capacity is for the 40TES model year 2012. They should be able to tell you what the amount is if you dropped the pan, as well as dry fill.
