EBK
Just bought a new 2012 R/T, red, loaded with every package and option except for FWD and trailer hitch. Loving the car so far. Love the interior and it drives pretty well to boot! Thinking about getting the aftermarket rear bumper protector and door sills, but I think that'll be it as far as mods go. We'll see . . . EBK
I meant, except for AWD. This is the US front wheel drive R/T.
generaltso
Congrats on the new ride! Where are you seeing an aftermarket rear bumper protector? I've been looking for one, but haven't been able to find one. I did buy the Mopar door sill protectors, but haven't put them on yet.
EBK
Actually, I probably wil install mudflaps as well as the door door sills and rear bumper protector. Rear bumper protector is available from autoexclusive.com. I will check with them to see if they have updated the shape for compatibility with the 2011-12 rear bumper. generaltso
Rear bumper protector: http://www.autoxclus...products_id=441 Please post back if you do go with that bumper protector. I'm curious how well it will fit. I installed the mudflaps and sill protectors. Both are fairly easy to install, but I was surprised that the front door sill protectors actually have to be bent a little bit to follow the subtle contour of the door sill. EBK
Found a bumper protector for the 2012 Fiat Freemont. AutoXclusive told me the Fiat Freemont products will fit. http://www.vmaxx.de/en/index.php?fz=269&cat=2∏=689&pos_imgreihe=553&img=vm01800.jpg
EBK
Let me clarify what AutoXclusive said: There is currently no version produced for the 2011+ models. We will offer this part when/if it's ever produced. All available 2011+ Journey items can be seen at www.vmaxx.de under the "FIAT FREEMONT 2012" Category. Any further questions feel free to ask. -- Best Regards, James Sherwood Automotive Inc Tel: 1-866-767-3686 Fax: 623-398-0740 So, I clicked the link they provided, looked up Fiat Freemont, and found the rear bumper protector listed there. With shipping and the Euro-to-dollar exchange rate, this could be a pretty big waste of money if it doesn't fit. So, I am in a bit of a quandary. Rubberdude88
Seems this thread has moved to bumper protection so... Firstly, welcome and enjoy. Secondly, has anyone seen this bumper protector for 2011 & 2012's? I like the look of it and would love to hear feedback anyone has. Cheers. http://www.koreanautoimports.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=12760
