hemiowner
Hello. My Wife and I are considering a Journey to replace our '04 HEMI Durango. We are looking at '11s as well as new '12s. I will need to tow a small utility trailer with this vehicle. Looking through the Towing and Hauling section has raised a few questions for me. Obviously on a new vehicle the Trailer Tow Prep package would be listed on the window sticker but if we are looking at used how can I tell if one has it? Where is the oil cooler? Are there any trailer hitches available without cutting the bumper?
generaltso
You can send a PM to DodgeCares on this forum with the VIN number of a DJ that you're looking at, and he can tell you if it originally came with the tow prep option. Yes, there are several aftermarket hitches you can get that don't involve cutting the bumper. If you go that route, I would recommend U-Haul since their hitches have a lifetime UNLIMITED warranty.
