wrxz24
Just wondering if anyone is experiencing squeaking, clunk sound as they are closing the door? It acts as it is catching a little on the hinge and it makes a clunk, grind sound as it passes the point on the hinge. No, I haven't tried grease yet. Dre
Yup same grinding/clunking noise here on all four doors...it seems worst since the DJ has gone through winter and has gotten a bit better with milder weather but I suppose that's normal. I tried white lithium lube but didn't help much. I'll have to try some grease on there I guess. Edited April 2, 2012 by Dre
symbasys
I use bulb grease - the clear kind that comes in a small tube. It's thick so it stays put, plus since it's clear it doesn't make a mess. I used it on all 4 door strikers and latches to quiet the door shift noise when going over uneven pavement.
