allwxflyer
I have a 2011 journey and constantly have a problem that when I move my left foot around the driver seat area, my shoe gets caught in the hood latch handle and releases the hood. Is there any way to secure the latch so it isn't as easy to operate?? I'm just waiting for the day I'm tooling down the freeway and the hood decides to kiss the windshield... Any ideas, thoughts suggestions? John near Boston
generaltso
Are there any positions of the seat that make you foot less likely to hit the hood release? I'm thinking maybe if the seat was a little higher or lower the position of your foot would be a little different? If not, maybe there's a way to get a velcro strap around the lever to give it a little more resistence. Not sure if there's anything to velcro it to.
