Paul Tevatron Graphene
We basically ordered the most expensive version of the Journey we could, minus smokers package, and a special color cost. 2012 Dodge Journey R/T AWD Black Black/Red Stitched Leather (standard) Base MSRP $31,795 Options: SunRoof $895 Trailer Prep $145 Navigation Group $995 Rear Seat Video $795 Flexible Seating $995 Second Row Boosters $225 MSRP was $36,745 Dealer Price for me $34,800 (Described as "Our price, plus $100"* ) Chrysler Retiree $1,000 off (Grandfather-in-law) "Southwest Ally Bonus+" $750 off "Southwest BC Retail Consumer Cash+" $1,000 off (Total Disc 4,695) $32050 +TTL Because of a trade in value of $28,000, Texas will tax the remaining balance of $4,050; instead of the full 32,050, so my TTL was around $700. ~32800 Out the Door. A lot for a Journey, I know, but it sure is a sweet Journey, and we didn't like the Durango in this price range compared to a loaded Journey, and the GMC Acadia with our options ended up at 43k range. *He said that this was their price to order the vehicle, plus $100, and I concurred as they ordered it on their system in front of me. Do they actually a get cheaper price from the manufacturer than this with Dealer pricing and discount? Almost assuredly. +Both of these are listed on Dodge's website when you build a vehicle with the zipcode 77708, and I assume are rebates that apply to the Southwest region of the US because of weak sales for Dodges as Texas tends to buy Ford.
