ITtech
Yea, I have some led fog lights installed and they are not quite as bright as some of the hotter (which can and will melt your housing if the move off center at all) halogen fog lights out there, but they are really white and look awsome. They are this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0061S9YJI/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_details bulb. I have installed white led interior bulbs front and back and rear door, bulbs are these two,, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00337QD4O/ref=oh_o06_s00_i00_details and http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0047RV8WG/ref=oh_o05_s00_i00_details . I have both high and low beams replaced with hid bulbs, they install easy and work nicely so far, they are the 9005 and 9006 version of kensun, link is here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004ZF35GM/ref=oh_o02_s03_i00_details I am getting the super bright white revers lights also, link here http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006WSDQWS/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_details but only use them in your revers lights... if you use the led bulbs in your turn signals or brake lights, then it will not blink normal, as the journey has a bulb warning for the brake and turn signal bulbs, if you need to you can get led bulbs for these that have built in resistors that will bypass the bulb wattage failure sensor, you can find these with some google work. Hope this helps, I love my bright lights, I will warn anyone putting in fog light bulbs that are hotter than 25w.. I used the putco bulbs that fit the h16 socket and they are 35 w bulbs and look great, but twice one bulb would not install perfectly straight and it melted the housing, 40$ for new housing and then you gota get a new bulb also. The problem is that the factory bulbs have notches made for the socket and all after market h16 bulbs have the no rotate tabs on the wrong side, so you have to trim one of them off with a razor blade, which does not affect function, but will make it a little easy for the bulb to not sit smoothly into the socket. Just take your time and it will work, but if it is a tad off, there goes your housing. NO problems with the led's btw.
symbasys
I have installed white led interior bulbs front and back and rear door, bulbs are these two,, http://www.amazon.co...s00_i00_details and http://www.amazon.co...s00_i00_details . I have tried two different types of the 194/168 LED bulbs in my front dome/map lights. They work fine as dome lights, but the map light function does not work. I've tried reversing them and even bought ones that were listed as "polarity-free", but still no luck. Do these that you bought work when you turn on the map lights? ITtech
Yes, the ones I got for the interior work for maps also. I have not replaced the ones in the visor yet, as leds are so bright that it would most likely blind anyone trying to see themselves in the mirror lol. I replaced the license plate lights with two of those color changing led bulbs from autozone and they work great, looks cool also.
ITtech
Update: I installed the revers lights. They get great reviews online, but since the 2010 journey tail light has a red band that goes directly across the clear reverse light area, the led lights do not provide as much light as the factory ones do. I still keep them in since they are whiter looking and clean, but you have less light to backup up with it seems. I also must mention that I did have minor flickering with the HID lightss. I had to purchase these http://www.stealthauto.com/Products/Dodge-HID-Flicker-Fix---HID-Capacitors-for-Dodge-Cars-and-Trucks__HID-CAP-DODGE.aspx , and you will need two sets at 35$ each is you replace all four headlights. They are simple to connect as well and will stop the flickering, or at least did for me. I am also installing plasma glow under car lights, white in color and they will be wired to the interior lights. I will post pics as soon as I get all the work done. onecrazyfoo4u
Why do you change out the map lights and dome lights? I thought they were already LED lights in there? What interior bulbs would need changed to match the LED lights already in the car? It seems like the dome lights and map lights (front and back) area already LED lights. I think there's a cargo hatch light and the under door lights that are all normal bulbs that would need replaced to match. Anything else?
