N the Red
Thought i would say hello. I have a 2010 Journey SXT i bought for my wife last year. I have already added a cold air intake, new mufflers/tail pipes and a new grill. Mods to be finished before summer will be upgrading the brakes, tint the driver and passenger side windows adding 20" or 22" wheels and lowering in on H&R springs. I have been lurking on the forums for a while trying to see what mods people have been doing. I took pictures of the CAI install and will be starting threads in the near future to help out others on the forum. If anybody has question, feel free to ask and i'll answer to the best of my ability. Thanks.
20journey11
Am interested in seeing the muffler set up. What brand mufflers and what they sound like. Any drone sound inside? Bolt-on?
N the Red
I went with Magnaflows (part # 11234) because i didn't want to take a chance with the possible drone from flowmasters. They have a low throaty sound, it's a surprising sound from a V6. The shop thinks it's from the dual exits/mufflers versus singe mufflers. The shop put pictures on their facebook page but i will take pictures in a day or so and put them up here. I like how the mufflers are tucked up behind the bumper, they don't hang down at an angle like the stock ones.
N the Red
There is no drone and they welded everything up, no bolt on.
