ferrari1.8t
Hello Everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself to this forum. I am from Toronto, Ontario and have recently picked up my Silver on Black 2012 Dodge Journey R/T AWD. I absolutely love this car and joined this forum to share my passion with all my fellow Journey lovers. So far I have been 100% satisfied with the truck, however, recently one issue started occurring. Upon acceleration between 60-70 KM there is a deep vibration that occurs underneath the car that can be felt from the driver seat and the seat directly behind the driver. Has anyone else experienced this issue or heard of it all? It concerns me because it is a brand new vehicle and I do not want to have any major issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Edit* My wife brought the truck into the dealership today and they balanced the tires and gave it a wheel alignment to solve the issue. I do not see how a brand new truck would need an alignment and balancing. Obviously it did not fix the issue so I am going to have to bring it back on Monday morning. To make matters worse, I just went the garage and noticed that the mechanics scratched all 4 of my 19" rims with there screw guns around the nut region. Now I am going to have to file a complaint with Chrysler. This is absolutely ridiculous, what a horrible experience. bigtsr
The dealer should good on the damaged rims if he does find another dealer for sure. The vibration could be the exhuast system reaching resonance and touching something in its path such as a heatshield etc.
