Teresa58
Purchased 2009 journey in 4/2009, 2 months later replaced both the rotors and pads for the rear and also the pads for the front. 6 months later replaced brake pads and rotors in the front, 4 months later replaced pads and rotors in the front again. I then had to replace all four tires because of the excessive wear caused by the rotors which were manufactured too small for the weight of the vehicle. Eight months later, replaced the front rotors and pads for the third time, still under warranty, but paid for labor. About one year later, i had to once again replace three of my tires caused again by the excessive wear. Then ten months later, replaced all four brake pads. I was told that the manufactured rotors and pads were too small for the weight of the vehichle when the vehichles were being manufactured. I could replace the rotors and pads a hundred and one times, however there is no plausible repair for the front rotors and pads for the dodge journeys. You are only going to keep on being forced to pay out of pocket for another headache. Beings the car is irreplaceable in the front brake pads and rotors, and because the manufacturer is at fault, I feel the dodge company should help all the purchasers of the 2009 dodge journeys to aquire each of them a new reliable vehichle. I sympathize with all individuals who purchased the 2009 dodge journey. Edited July 24, 2012 by Teresa58
