oracle
The story is that like many others I was surprised when the towing package included the wiring but not installed, in the trunk So I ventured to install it... it couldn't be any easier, just pop the tail lights out and run the wires down the space between the body sheet and bumper. You have to be careful cause side with 4 plugs go on the drivers side and the 2 plugs on the passenger. I think it took me longer to undo the connectors at the tail light than the actual install.. it even included those ribbed pin holders that just go under the bumper to keep it in place.. all neatly taped together.. In my opinion this is so easy that Dodge should be ashamed for not doing it at the factory when they install the tranny cooler (part of the towing package) Tomorrow I'll tackle the brake controller.. cheers!
