raff
Greetings all. Found this forum when I was planning to buy a new Journey. Love all of the valuable info, which was very informative. Settled on a pearl white 2012 R/T with tan/black interior. Fully loaded except for seven passenger seating. Wife and I both love it. Quiet, powerful, comfortable. Mileage way better than 2008 Ram we traded. Couple of idiosyncrasies mostly with uconnect. Tinted front windows to match rest, put some Husky floor liners in and put clear film across leading edge of hood to protect paint. I'll be digging through this forum for answers to any questions I have.
Rubberdude88
Welcome. Sounds like a nice truck. We looked at the white also but settled on the Brilliant Red Tri-coat Pearl. Enjoy.
Windancer
We looked at the white also but settled on the Brilliant Red Tri-coat Pearl. I initially was a little hesitant on white but after nearly 2 years of ownership I am glad I did. In the past I have always had a coloured vehicle usually red but I am now very happy with my white car. IMO it looks good, does not show the dirt nearly as much as I thought, even then it seems to look cleaner. The only SMALL complaint I seem to have is that it is a weeeee bit harder to wax as the wax also dries white and is harder to see what you have already done. Terry Yah Terry... the white looks really "smart ". Back in the late 80's we had a white GMC pick-up and it was really easy to keep clean. Waxing can be an issue but rather than a once a year wax, you may want to use a spray wax 3 or 4 times a year. I know Armor All makes a clear wax that does not haze white. Really like the look of your truck - the running boards are going to be our next purchase as well as front tint. Take care.
raff
My wife initially wanted black which looks good except keeping it clean is tough. White is a bit more forgiving.

I had a black Caravan and have a black PT Cruiser convertible and while they looked great clean and shiny, they were/are very hard to keep that way.
