sexyRTboi
As the subject says ... I'm hoping to upgrade my stock foglights on my 2012DJ R/T to LED's ... I've read a couple places I need load resistors on them (possibly) - I always thought you just needed resistors if you were replacing signal lights to prevent hyper flash .... Anyone know if I do infact need to put load resistors on if Im just using the LED's for my fogs?? thanks!
onecrazyfoo4u
I can't imagine that LED fog lights would be very bright or usable. I guess you'd be fine if you're just trying to color match to HID headlights. Wouldn't you want to do HID's instead? Probably close to the same price. Moparman
No resistors needed. Search my old posts, I used bright leds, they are way better than stock.
sexyRTboi
Wouldn't you want to do HID's instead? Probably close to the same price. I would as I absolutly LOVE the look and vision HID's give off - however - I had put HID's in stock housings in one of my old cars and while I could see pretty decent I was more or less a menace on the road to anyone coming at me at night as the light was scattered rather than directed with projectors (which I later obtained - Chev Cavalier) - wish there were more aftermarket exterior accessories for our DJ's --- ie: chrome bug guard/stone guard whatever you wanna call it - rather than the run of the mill black smoked ones. gieves
no resistors needed for LED Fog Lights....But you can't use HID's on fog light as it will melt the Fog light housing...
