black2011
Just installed a new Bra on Saturday, for our road trip on Monday, so thought I would take a picture. Little did I know it would be the last one of my rims! I went to walk my dogs on Sunday morning and came out to this. So little to say that our road trip has been postponed. I live in a nice area in Scottsdale AZ, and the sherriff who came out said he had never heard of this being reported in this district ever! The dogs have officially been banned from the bed at night, and relocated to the front room
moparviens
Man, that sucks! I have the 19" alloys for the Rallye and have really been thinking of locking lugs. I guess in a sense you have made my mind up cause i live in a nice neighborhood in Canada! Sorry to hear about your loss
Mcgusto82
Damn. Sorry to see that.
redtomatoman
People suck! Aftermarker rims, yes, but I never knew that factory rims would be stolen. More of a case for a locking lug than not having nice rims. Sorry for your loss. Peace.
rolly
That's terrible! Sorry to hear this, especially with the timing of your trip. Edited October 24, 2012 by rolly
Jay Sixspeedrt
Wow, Black, sorry to see that. Happened to me back in 1989 with a 84 Rabbit GTI. Came out in the morning, wheels gone, car on blocks. Should have had locking lug nuts. Hard to believe no one ever sees this stuff taking place. Maybe invest in a security cam too? AstralRT
Wow, that sucks. I'm feeling fortunate that mine came new with locking lugs from the dealer. Angelo100
walker
Hmmm...Got a set of locking lugs with my purchase but never installed them...This is a good incentive, even though we live in a relatively quiet area.
doubleO7
That sucks big time. Glad mine came with the locking wheel nuts. Hope everything works out Ok in the end.

Mine were installed automatically, and I was just given the lug key during pick up. Did I get ripped 4 standard lugs?
onecrazyfoo4u
What the freak, they're not even real chrome! They're plastic! I bet they didn't realize that and feel like super big idiots when they find out.
bigtsr
"Did I get ripped 4 standard lugs?" Sounds like it-mine were the jack well in a plastic bag along with the lock lug key.
Mohammadsen
Mine also got locked lugs with the lug key directly from the dealer
johnj69
Well unless they had the removal tool that can be bought almost anywhere. Universal for removing locking lug nuts with haveing the key

Todd
Unreal! Why can't people just leave things alone? Will definitely get locking wheel nuts when I get my rims.
Rubberdude88
Wow, that sucks. I'm feeling fortunate that mine came new with locking lugs from the dealer. Ya... that really sucks. The size of some people's balls!!! Our 2012 SXT came with locking lugs on the truck as well as a new pack in the back with the trailer tow package bag. Hope your insurance company takes good care of you. Cheers. PS: The bra looks great. Edited October 29, 2012 by Rubberdude88
harrisjohn6
Wow that is terrible, nothing worse than working hard for something and having it taken from you. Interesting, my 2013 came with keyed lugs.

bramfrank
A camera, a recorder and a large sign in both languages and with graphics that says 'smile for the camera'. The sign is the disincentive. Otherwise all you get are pics of people thhat no one recognises.
