dirceuximenes
Friends my name is Dirceu Ximenes and I live in Brazil, in Fortaleza, Ceará. I bought a 2012 Dodge Journey RT, I am very happy with the car, it has a central 8-inch multimedia, recently gave the DVD problem, the unit was not pulling the CD, which was trading at warranty, quick service and very helpful, only before that my GPS had maps of Brazil and is now with maps of the U.S., have already taken the dealership and they tried to update the maps but Brazilians are failing, the system is only accepting American map, they said they came into contact with Chrysler, and are awaiting a new update because the device is not accepting our maps, as I use the GPS a lot, I wonder if they can help me with this problem. bramfrank
The base maps in most Garmin devices are a function of firmware - updates can only be made from the same regional maps that the unit shipped with - you need the Brazilian version of the navigator - there must be a country-specific model of the radio and your dealer has to order the one for Brazil. Good luck.
dirceuximenes
That's the problem, the DVD broke, so they sent another, but that does not accept the map of Brazil, I think they just have to replace American

Mcgusto82
I would suggest, you need to call Chrysler directly.
