LVJourney
Is there anyway to turn down the horn volume when you push the lock button? We park our Journey in the garage and when we lock it the horn beeps to say the alarm is set and it is LOUD! My 2004 stratus had a control on the dash to turn the volume down on that. Can't find it in the Journey. Thanks, LVJourney
mrdirt73
Yes there is, it is in the manual under "key fob" I think. Anyway it is something like this: Press the lock button once, then press it again and hold down for 5 seconds. It has been several weeks since I did this myself, but I think that is how it works. Anyway, someone can correct me if I'm wrong, or if nothing else it is listed in the manual.
Sam
Press "lock" for 5 seconds. After the 5 seconds, while the "lock" is still down, press "Panic" and release both buttons at the same time... you're done!

ibigmac40
Wow! thats gold, been wondering how to do this myself. Dumb question but obviously this doesnt affect the alarm sound if the alarm were to go off right?
LVJourney
not quite what I was looking for. That turns the alarm sound off, I just wanted to turn the volume down. Funny thing is, now I can't turn it back on?
Sam
Do the same thing to turn it back on!
