Anybody have to replace their TPMS sensor on valve stem?

We just had to have one of the TPMS sensors in the valve stem replaced on our 2011 Journey Mainstreet. When it was finished we had come to notice that instead of the standard black valve stem, it was a chrome valve stem. Had complained to the dealership and got know where. So I called Dodge and was told that they could not replace the miss matched valve stem since it was not defective. DUH! It was brand new! And that we would have to pay out of pocket and send the receipt to Dodge and get partial reimbursement. Why is this problem my fault? When we weren't the ones that sent the wrong freakin valve stem in the first place! Just wanted to know if anybody else had experienced this type of problem. Any feed back or suggestions would be helpful.

Update:

After many calls and I'm sure my blood pressure going through the roof, the chrome TPMS was exchanged with a black one to match the rest on the car. And there was no charge to us for the replacement as was first mentioned.
