ENG911
I traded my 2010 Journey SXT and got my new 2013 RT a few days ago. Huge difference due to the redesign in 2011 and all the extra options on the RT. Hopefully I will not have any of the ongoing break issues I had with the 10SXT. I had 3 break jobs in the first 20k. All under warranty so I won't bitch too much about that. Anyway Im loving the new RT and hopefully will own this one for years to come. I got the Nav and Sunroof but took a pass on the Flex Seating. The backup camera is really nice. I love the heated seats and the heated stearing wheel. I'm also using the remote start regularly as the temps are dropping here in Canada. As soon as I get some snows on it I'll be happy, and yes I know of the issues with sizing. This is by far the best equipped vehicle I have ever owned. It drives quieter than anything else I tested and has ample power. My brother is a Chrysler employee so nobody could beat the EP pricing. Happy Holidays to everyone, Tony :shades:
rolly
Welcome Tony. I'm a Chrysler retiree in the Windsor area. I just got my 2013 SXT 11/2 weeks ago and just love it. I got the Nav and opted for the 5 seater as well, heated seats and remote start. I can't get over how quiet it is and it handles very well. Hope you have a great Christmas as well and happy and safe travelling in 2013!
ENG911
It's a small world. I lived in Windsor for 13 years. I worked at The New WI, now CTV2. Adding all the sound proofing was the best thing Chrysler ever did for the Journey. The noise levels are night and day compared to the 2010 before the redesign. I just got my snow tires about an hour ago and the young guy at the shop was telling the other mechanic how nice it was when he pulled in the bay. Then when he came out he commented "that's a really nice truck". That made my day. The snow tire rims are hard to fit with those huge front calipers. Just in case you need it I went with the P225/65R17 Goodyear Nordics and more importantly the rim #X44753 or Canadian Tire Part # 0098942. Those replaced the 19's on my RT. You'll find numerous posts on here from people having issues with the front calipers rubbing on steel winter rims. Safe driving, Tony
