OhareFred
Not to be a wise guy, but does your IPOD work by itself? Maybe try a different IPOD. I have an 09 with the REN radio, and it will recognize my older IPOD Nano, but not my new IPOD Nano. Go figure. It won't play the new Nano with the cable either, but the Nano works fine on every other piece of electronic equipment in the house. What can I say. karrie3373
the thing is, that when I plug the cord in the aux, even without the ipod connected to the other end, i get the annoying tick tick tick noise, so I plug in the ipod and all i hear is tick tick tick, and my ipod does work, i use it all the time
redtomatoman
I totally get your frustration. If my ipod didn't work I'd be bummed. Have you thought about getting another ipod just for the journey? The other option is the sd card. The cd player plays mp3 files as well. Peace. OhareFred
check to make sure your cord is good. If you are using a simple patch cord (from the headphone jack to the aux on the radio, 3.5mm plugs) make sure it is a stereo cord. There will be 2 black "lines" on the steel plug if its a stereo cable, only one if its not. Other then that, you might have a bad aux input. Good luck!
