harrisjohn6
I have the 2013 Journey AVP and I am highly disappointed in the sound from the stereo it just lacks power. I want to keep my factory stereo but I want to get better sound from it. What options do I have? The stock stereo does not put out enough volume for me. I am not opposed to adding amps and subs but the amp sub combo will only drown out the existing factory speakers making it worse.
bigtsr
Try turning on BOTH your hearing aids. LOL Seriously I can't have mine above the 15 mark or it's just too loud,I am not an audio enthusiast so can't say it's great audio but it's loud. At the 20 mark you can hear it 30 feet from the DJ with windows all closed.

harrisjohn6
Funny you should say that about the hearing aids. I just may need one but mine is really unimpressive. I have had hearing problems my whole life and always had after market units in my vehicles. My last one was a luxury with upgraded stereo so the speakers were fine. When I am with passengers I fgind the 15 mark perfect 12 if the conversation is good. Alone I like the 20 mark because audio is not distorted at any range however I can hear the road as well as the blowers for the heat.
