Hello....So what is the alternative then i.e. the "something else" mentione din your post? I concur with the HID concerns...you don't want all that to happen when you are in dire need of lights being on pronto

HIRs are a alternative that are gaining momentum lately... More lumens and a little bit whiter light...

Nope still no flickering. I used the Kit which had the Bulbs and Ballasts. I also had to purchase the Resistors and Harness.

Is there a capacitor on your relay harness? You have resistors on both sides I assume?

I have Mopar specific HID kit from TRS, they have capacitors and resistors: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/hid-systems/morimoto-elite-hid-system-mopar-low-beam.html. However, with the below zero temperatures this year there was slight flickering on one side.

Flickering during warm up, or once they were already warm?

If there is a capacitor then its built into the relay harness cause I didnt see one. Yes I have resistors on both sides.
