Rakvilla
Hi I got a 2010 sxt with the face lift interior, my key fob's have both stopped locking or opening the car most of the time, it was a intermittent problem every now and again but it's got worse and now doesn't work about 60 percent of the time, It's still under warranty but is there a way to reset the system to save a day at the steelers. Thanks Rich
bigtsr
First thought would be new battery in the fob! Second thought would be to reset the TIPM by disconecting the battery for 10-15 minutes letting residual charge drain off the system. If both fobs act exactly the same then it could be the module for interface. There have been reports also of it acting differenly when in park or neutral which leads to a home position switch on shifter.
Windancer
I agree with bigst, I would look at a new battery in each first. Speaking from experierence, make sure you have the batteries installed properly . Terry
Destination
and make sure you don't have an iPhone near the fob. My doors won't open if I'm carrying the fob and the phone in the same hand.

Rakvilla
Hi done some more testing, if I park in different spots both at home and at work its fine. If I pull off my drive by a six ft it work fine too. Could my broad band be messing with the signal off the fob?

Hi done some more testing, if I park in different spots both at home and at work its fine. If I pull off my drive by a six ft it work fine too. Could my broad band be messing with the signal off the fob? anything could be interfering with it i guess, if it works everywhere but not in one area then best not to park there ... also check the batteries like other have said.... Lebowski
Per chance, do you live near a police station or something similar? Once (with another car) I parked near one and the fob wouldn't work, they have rf inhibitors in place for whatever reason.
ptcruide
My 2010 did the same exact thing! My local Chryser dealer replaced the FOB battery for $3. End of problem.
Rakvilla
Have changed the batteries, first thing I did and nothing changed. Been off work a couple of days and its been fine and come to think of it, it always plays up at home after its played up at work, Something must be interfering while at work, phone mast, taxi company radio. I think it's just trial and error with my parking space I suppose.
