Mcgusto82 Posted August 21, 2013 Report Share Posted August 21, 2013 My grand caravan is just out of basic warranty. 36434 miles. I have an apt to check a shifter issue. (Eng wont start 40% of time unless I put it in neutral) HORRIBLE tranny since their so called tranny recall. And a bad wheel pressure sensor. Anyways, my issue is that I've had these for about 1-2k miles. But I've been extremely busy, and I really don't want to have to pay. The guy over the phone didn't make any promises of any conclusions, but I think I'll hear "it's out if warranty" and on top of that, my apt is next Wednesday. (More miles) Is there something I could do? I had actually made an apt at 34k miles, but had to miss it. Too busy, and my dealer likes to keep cars all day long. If you can make the case that the previous appointment was during the warranty, the service folks may be more apt to help you out. Good luck. Mcgusto82 Posted August 28, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 28, 2013 Thank you guys. I'm at the dealer now. Called Chrysler, they are doing a "good will warranty extension". So it'll be covered. Btw since I called and now, I put on 500 miles. So now I'm at 36600. Dealer of course tried to use that against me. Overall, this dealer is ok though.
