guls
Starting a thread to see how many members here actually do work for Chrysler.
redtomatoman
I don't. I'm a Mopar man though. On an unrelated note, I've decided that the Dodge Journey is one of the most artfully executed CUVs ever. Only the Murano comes close; distant second. Peace. 2late4u
30 yrs. with chrysler, worked the assy. lines, and line support. seen it all and done most every job that was offered.I have been retired 6yrs. as of now.It was an interesting and at times stressful job , but If I could go back and do it different. No i was blessed to meet so many different and interesting friends and belonged to the UAW union that has fought to help everyone live a good life with a good retirement benifits. To many companies only thinking about what is good for them in the short term and not worried about their workers and what happens to them after they put in their 30 yrs. rolly
I worked for Chrysler Canada for 35 1/2 years and will be retired for 10 years on January 1st. I am also a past proud member of the UAW and still a proud retired member of CAW union. Thank God for the union negotiated pension and benefits and for the work they continue to do. It doesn't hurt to have the union negotiated employee purchase plan as well. 2late4you is right when he says too many companies think of their short term success without acknowledging the hard work done by those who produce the product. Daimler and Cerebus are perfect examples- they almost killed Chrysler.
Journeyman425
I don't work for the company proper, but I am the service manager for a small dealership.
