mkatona
Hi. I picked up these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002M3KSK0/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 .. Now the question I have is pretty lame.. .. There are both notches and triangles on the rails. Outside of ensuring the cross bars are on the same spot, what do they represent? Rubberdude88
Alignment for sure but also weight load points maybe?
Bubba
I think the marks are there for reduced wind noise when in those positions. I` am not 100% sure on that but I keep mine there when I `am done using them .
humansoul
If you have the OEM racks, the arrows are a guide point where you would lock them in place. I believe if you feel around the arrow areas of the railes, you'll feel a slight groove where they wedge into place. If using aftermarket, no need to place it on the arrows, but it does help align the racks evenly.
