burn2011
Just discovered that my Rogers Samsung Galaxy S2 is not 100% compatible with uConnect (phone works but not messaging). I would simply get a new Rogers phone however there aren't any new/recent phones that are on the uConnect list still available! Anyone in Canada have any luck with getting their phones to work with all of the available features without having to get an older phone? Rubberdude88
Same here Burn. Rogers GS3 - connects and works perfectly with Uconnect - everything but messaging. Hopefully a Chrysler wide fix will come one day soon. I'm not going to limit my phone selection just for messaging compatibility. Sucks!!! That's odd because I got my Samsung Galaxy II to work flawlessly with my 2010 Journey and now have my Samsung Rugby paired with my car. I am with SaskTel, but that shouldn't make any difference. On the uConnect page it lists an S2 as compatible but it is a version they have never carried, with an outdated operating system. For me, everything works great except for the text messages. I don't want to text & drive but have already come across an issue. If my phone is connected to the car, sent text messages are delayed and not sent until the phone is out of range from the car's bluetooth. Which means that while my husband is driving I cannot text from my phone.

Just a thought, have you done any updates to the Samsung Galaxy? I must admit mine performed better after I did the upgrade. I have also backed everything up using KIES, which Samsung advises. Terry Yep, all up to date. According to the uconnect webpage I need an older phone if I want it to work properly. Crazy stuff! Hopefully someone knows of an app that will make phones work properly. Terri Jarvis
I have an iphone 4.. with the new updated operating system... and i can't get text messages of any kind, sending or receiving. I'm in Alberta and use Telus as my iphone provider. when i've checked out the iphone and uconnect for compatiblity, it says anything over a 5 operating system it doesn't work. If your driving when u need the text messages the most it won't bring them thru.
burn2011
Terri, we will just have to buy old phones off ebay in order to utilize our brand new car's old cell phone technology :P
