DTSGUY
I got tired of the sun glaring in my eye from the chrome reflection everytime I drive my Journey so I PlastiDiped the center chrome part. Here are before and after pictures. This only took me 30 min. Edited October 28, 2013 by DTSGUY

Addicted to Dodge
Nice look, actually I think it looks better than the chrome. I keep hearing about Plasti Dip. What is it and where do you get it?
DTSGUY
Nice look, actually I think it looks better than the chrome. I keep hearing about Plasti Dip. What is it and where do you get it? Thank You. PlastiDip is a spray just like spray paint. You spray it on most anything. Its not a permanent color change but it last a long time. It comes in diffrent colors but Black, Red and Yellow are the most popular ones. The nice thing about it is if you dont like the way it comes out you can peel it off at any time after it dries and your part is as good as it was before you "Dipped" it. You can buy it at Home Depo in the paint department.

Lawdog1911
WalMart carries it too, its cheaper there. Plasti-dip now has metallics as well a slew of colors.

Addicted to Dodge
I definitely cant wait to get some and try it. I have 2 old project trucks that really need some TLC and this stuff looks simple enough to try without messing something up permanently. Great link on PlastiDip! Thanks DTSGUY DTSGUY
