mbaroja
I have experienced problems driving on snow and mud with my Journey RT and these horrible Kumho tires in 19" rims. I have ordered new wheels, which i expect will not improve enough driving on slippery conditions. So i have started thinking of the crazy idea of implementing the AWD transmission on my FWD car. Is this too crazy? impossible? unaffordable?

Its all about how much you want to spend....my guess is you with need the AWD tranmission and possibly the case (if there is transfercase), the driveshaft, rear axels, rear hubs, front hubs and drive axels, also maybe springs and struts too. There are a lot of little intricate parts also inbetween.
