wingit11
I went down to the US and bought my winter tires and rims. I got 17" American Racing mags and Hankook winter tires for $1,050. I could not get any closer to $1,500 here and that was with black steel wheels. Personally, I am not a fan of rims that fit multiple bolt sizes. Any good reputable tire shop should be able to spec the right rim for your needs.
Isaiah6113
X44753 is the standard factory fit available to many suppliers (Canadian Tire, Active Green+Ross, and others). As we speak I'm getting those rims, sensors, balancing, and Michelin Latitude X-Ice Xi2 installed for $1,435.28 taxes in (with manufacturer's $70 rebate). This price includes lifetime flat fixes with balancing, prorated road hazard, tire rotate at 10,000km, and seasonal swaps. If you register your tires with Michelin they also offer 3-year roadside flat change or 250km tow. Also included in the price is Ontario's "Tire Stewardship Fee" of $22.76. Purchased at Active Green & Ross, Oshawa, Ontario. Works out to $341.32 per corner; I'm pleased. Drove this afternoon, nice and smooth. As an FYI this tire store also fixed a flat on my summers for free knowing I was buying winters, nice touch. jojogg
thanks for all your guys replies. I checked with Active Green & Ross and they do not have X44753 in stock and the TPMS sensor will cost about 60$ each. I bought 4 X44753 RIM from CT and they mentioned this is perfect fit and X44753 is hub-centric. Costco has X47127 should fit the Journey, however it need order first and I did not find anyone use it. All I know is X44753 fits.
bramfrank
I didn't bother with TPMS sensors on the winter wheels. The warning light came on the first time I drove with the winters installed and after that the dash was clear. It all quietly goes back to normal when the summer tires are re-installed. Journey_SeXT
I'm with bramfrank as well, I didn't bother with the TPMS on my winter tires either. Having it come standard with the vehicle is one thing bought buying it......i'll save that money and check the tire pressure myself.
jojogg
Thanks for your guys comments, same here after changed to winter tire, the alarm showed a moment and then disappeared. The dash was clear. I didn't bother with TPMS sensors on the winter wheels. The warning light came on the first time I drove with the winters installed and after that the dash was clear.
