Just saying hello to everybody. I do not have a DJ yet, we just made our last trip in our 02 GMC Denali XL, and putting it up for sale. As soon as it sales we are looking into a 2013 Dj with AWD, and 3rd row, color is not a matter. I had many dodges, and other vehicles, but currently own a 2005 dodge ACR SRT -4, bought brand new, and it's a Stage 3 with Toys, a 1989 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am #77, restored, and our Denali.

I've been doing research on the DJ and heard as many complaints, and compliments a like. But the handful of people that I talked to in person with them, in parking lots or gas stations, all were very happy with them. So we are hoping that we will be happy as well. My wife is saddened to let her Denali go but at 194,000, it's time for a new vehicle, not to mention better MPG.

Anyways hope to get all the info in the near future on any questions I might have, looks like a great community here,

Marcel

Not sure if you like the BlackTop version.....Have you seen it? It looks sweet. When I bought mine used back in June 2013 I didnt know about the BlackTop version. But thats ok cause Im having fun customizing mine to look semi BlackTop. I still need to do a few more things to get it to the way I really want. Good luck and welcome.

Welcome to the forum. I joined before I bought mine too and the information everyone shared sold me on the Journey. It's a great vehicle

Yes agree sounds like a great vehicle. Plan on getting on this month if all goes well on the sale of the Denali.

I love my 2013 DJ SXT it has 8,900 miles on it. Excited to use AWD. I get 24-26 mpg on the highway, 17-19 city. Great cruiser, perfect for trips. You will be making a great choice.

That sounds great, exactly what I'm looking for to replace the Denali. Going from 16 mpg to 24 mpg highway will pay the loan by itself, just in the savings in fuel!

Hi...I am new to this forum and would like to announce that I am the proud parent of 2 brand new 2014 Dodge Journeys!!! Only a few days old...One for the wife and one for me !! Being that I am now broke from the car payments and that the price tags prevented me from buying the decked out versions ...I need some good inexpensive sources for aftermarket add on accessories like...hood deflectors...chrome door handle covers ...sill covers....etc. Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance for your help !!

(don't know why but the small I's and L's look the same in this message ...hmmm?)
