redtomatoman
and my DJ still runs just like it's brand new. Its hard to believe that its already been 30 months. I still feel like it's new. I've been absolutely happy up to this point. Haven't even had to do brakes in 33,000+ miles. Still have the OEM kumhos on with more than half the tread left. I drive my DJ 70%/30% highway/city. Peace. jkeaton
Chris1276
Congrats!! Nice to know that you are very happy with your DJ. I have mine for 16 month now and sp happy with it. Only gripe Is the fuel economy... 25.2 L/100kms.
rolly
That's great! We just celebrated our first year of ownership earlier this month and agree- it's a great vehicle. Continued happy motoring!
Journeyman425
I love reading stories like these. Our 2000 300M is going to be a very tough act to follow - it still runs flawlessly on its original engine and transmission after more than 13 years and 287.000 miles. I remember when it had 31,000 miles - it was a year old - and not a single problem with it. We were still 40,000 miles away from our first set of tires and front brakes. To this day, it has never seen a tow truck and only failed to start once due to a shorted battery. I bought a 7 year/100K Maximum Care warranty on it (longest that was offered at the time) thinking I'd surely have to put a tranny in it before 100K miles. Maybe that was a good omen. Bought a lifetime Max Care warranty with the Journey - let history repeat!

Hope my lifetime warranty was a complete waste of money! LOL. Peace.
