SMCUSCG
I just bought a 2013 Journey and noticed there is some "play" where the rear heat/ac controls are. The controls are not tight to the roof. Is this normal? If someone else has a 13 Journey SXT and has the same play issues I will feel a little more relaxed. Thank you
Addicted to Dodge
Must be normal, mine does the same thing.
jkeaton
Yes, mine is the same way. It's like it is not attached or something. I wonderd why they could not put a couple of screws in there or something to hold it up tight against the roof. I dont worry about it though. If the headliner falls down, I'll worry about it then. Crappy engineering? Maybe. I have things like this on all my vehicles, and sometimes wonder to myself, who the heck came up with this design?? lol...Honestly I dont sweat the small stuff. If I wanted perfection, I would have spent 10-15k more. Maybe I have a unique attitude about vehicles, but after owning over 40 different makes/models over the year, I learn to expect the unexpected. My parents love their Lincoln's. 60k for a fully loaded Lincoln these days. Although they are nice indeed, they are far from perfect. They have problems just as any other manufacturer. The Journey is the best bang for your buck CUV out there! jkeaton
